It is the Christmas holiday and a week and one day until Xmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have had a really good year and have got a great new teacher. And Grandad is coming on Boxing days Boxing day! I have got most of my presents sorted I just need to do some stuff. I have also made some biscuits for the christmas tree and have had a christmas party with my friends from running club, it was really good!

I am back at school and am really enjoying Year 5. I feel really old now!! Yesterday I did a race and I am really, really pleased. I came 13th out of 58, it is my first race of the season and I am one of the youngest in these races. How good is that?!

Holiday

We are in Holland and have been for 5 weeks. We have been to lots of places, some of the places have been: Dippie doe, The Efteling, Amsterdam, a mill, Weert and wehave ben on cycle rides to go shopping or just to go somewhere to have an ice-cream. Adam Jenkins coming on tuesday and there is a fair coming to budel. we will have to go back to school a week Monday. we are having a really good time but i really am missing Daddy so much. I have got a really cool fake converse shoe pencil case for school. I need to go now.

We are in Holland!! The journey was great and didn't feel at all like a long time. We didn't arrive here that late because our boat was at 2:00 so we arrived at about 9:15 dutch time. My bedrrom is lovely and my bed is very, very cosy. I am sure I am going to have a great time here.

It is the summer Holidays! We broke up today and we are going to Holland in 4 days!!!!!!!! I am soooooooooooooooo excited. And after the summer holidays I am going to be in Year5. So many exciting things are happening.

On Friday it will be the end of the school year and after the hols I will be in year 5!!! I am so excited because on the Tuesday after we break up me, Mummy, Gideon and Elijah will be going to Holland. i have made my mind up that I am really going to try and speak dutch. Mummy is already helping me and I am writing it all down in a notebook. That way i will actually be able to talk to some dutch people.

we did sports day on Wednesday. Green (my team) came second and yellow came first. I came second in the long distance and the sprinting race. I am sooooooooooooo excited because we might be able to go Holland and stay with Oma for a longer time than last!!!!!!!

Ok let me explain what a baby shower is. For Oma and maybe other dutch people who don't know what a baby shower is. At a baby shower you chat, play games, have food and give presents. Basically it is like an early birthday party for the baby and a party for the Mummy as well.

BBQ

Yesterday we went to the Thornley family's house for a BBQ. First we went on a the trampoline with Megan who is 15 and a really good friend to me. We went on the trampoline with Gideon as well ( he was laughing his head off!). Then we had tea. I had a cheese burger, a sausage , some crisps and some salad. After that me and Elijah played on their swing and then had some ice-cream for dessert. Then Megan, Elijah and I went for a walk with the dogs. There are 2 things I haven't mentioned, 1 they live on a farm, 2 they live in a . On the walk we threw sticks for the dogs, climbed a few fences and unfortunately I stood in a bed of nettles! When we got back we went to the stable and Megan was really funny because she rattled at the doors, smelled everything and then turned around to us and screamed. After that we went in slow motion down the hill and whacking each other in slow motion. When we got to the house we pretended to be soldiers marching around the house. Then we had to go home. We got to bed at 10:30pm but had a very x100 good time.

Going to a friend's house

On Wednesday we went to our friends house. Their Mum is the best at cheese toasties so we had them for lunch we then only really played for most of the time and relaxed in the shade because it was a warm day. Here's a really good part, we got a season of little house on the prairie!!!!!! For those you who don't know what that is, well simply it is the best T.V series ever. I am really looking forward to watching it. We then went home and went swimming a while after which was really relaxing as it was so hot. Well that is it for today ( by the way do you like the new desktop? )

Sleepover!!!

On Tuesday my friend Lucy came around for a sleepover. First we played a game, then we made some chocolate chip cookies which were really yummy. Whilst they were baking we played outside. We had soup for tea and an ice-lolly for dessert. After that we watched a really good film about this girl who changes from being a really good drama queen. Whilst watching the film we had popcorn and really yummy hot- chocolate and then went to bed at 9:00. We had a good sleep ( but chatted a bit!!!!). The next morning we had toast for breakfast and one of our cookies. Whilst Mummy was dropping Elijah off at a friend's house we played outside and then watched Alice in Wonderland which was really well filmed . I had a really good time.

Picnic

On Monday we had a lovely day. We went for a picnic but sadly daddy couldn’t come because he was working. The weather wasn’t too hot or too cold it was just nice and warm. We went out to Didsbury for a picnic in the park. First we went to the library to return 2 books of mine, after that we went to Aldi to get crisps and waffles for the picnic. We then walked to Didsbury Park, we were a bit late because we had promised to meet some friends but fortunately we were only a little bit late. We arrived at the park and I gave Caz a big hug because I haven’t seen her for a while. We played in the play park for a bit, I went on the roundabout with Gideon, big slide with Gideon and pushed Gideon on the swing. We then had lunch. For our picnic we had a bread roll with peanut butter and cheese on, carrot sticks, yoghurt, waffles an crisps. Caz had to go to a dentist appointment so they left and Mummy, Elijah, Gideon and I went into Didsbury Village. We went into the sewing shop and then went into the sweetie shops were me and Elijah bought some sweeties. We then went to some charity shops were we got some new clothes and Mummy spent a long time trying on clothes. We then went home and had an ice-lolly.

Yesterday I did a race. it was only year 3, 4 so I had a big advantage. It was actually really easy because it was way, way shorter than the length I usually run. now I will tell you the result ( you can probably guess from the title ) I came first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was how it went. At the start each school team was in a line I was at the front of our line because my team all knew I was fast so they let me. When we went of. At the start there were 3 people in front of me. after a bit I overtook 2 of them that left me with quite a tall girl a couple of yards ahead of me but that wouldn't stop me so I ran a little faster. then I was shoulder to shoulder. I sped up a bit so I overtook her. It was getting near the end know so I naturally sped up. I finished about 10 yards ahead of her in first place. I am very proud of myself and it feels great to have won. Now I need to try very hard in my last cross- country race of the season tomorrow. As well as coming first I wasn't even tired when I finished the race because it was pretty easy.

Today is the beginning of birthday week. Daddy's birthday is tommorow, mine on Tuesday, Grandad's on Wednesday and Ommatje's on Sunday. Mine is on pancake day and I am having a pancake party, I will tell you how it went on Wednesday. anyway I am very, very excited.

On christmas day me and Elijah actually woke up at 7:00 on Christmas day. For Christmas I got, a pen with loads of different colours, new boots!!!!!!!!, a really snuggly nightgown, pyjamas, a kit of how to make a sock monster, a tin with Maltesers in, it, Anne of Green Gables ( the best book ever) a new England shirt, a pencil case, roller skates, a very special book with poems that Daddy had written and probably a bit more. I gave Elijah a dinosaur badge and a cracker ( that I had made ) I gave Mummy a badge that I had sewn, Daddy some marzipan canes that I had made, and Gideon a take apart truck.

We were very late for church so late in fact that it had finished when we arrived! we went to another church and then went home for an absolutely delicious christmas dinner. Then we just hung around and watched a comedian on T.V. It was a brilliant christmas. Photos on another day!

Christmas Daddy Date

On Christmas eve me and daddy went to cloud 23 again, it was absoloutely lovely. We had high tea and it was delicious though we didn't finish all of it because we were stuffed. we played eye spy and took lots of photo's.I have to say it was absoloutely beautifull when the sun went down and the sky went red. the reason it was so beautiful was not because of any of the buildings, it was the nature that god made. Like the sky and the trees.

I am in the Christmas holidays. I started the holiday with a running course I did on Thursday. I was a bit poorly but I think I did well for someone who was poorly We did warm-ups, a sort of test and we also did some relays. I'll be doing more of those holidays in the next holidays which will make me improve in my running. Anyway that's enough for today, more tomorrow!

I have done 3 more races and in1 of them I got a price. 1 was the Gatley race, I came12th out of 77 the price was a certificate from the man who organizes the races, and a very pretty but expensive bracelet from Oma! The other one was a Stockport one, a new course in which I came 12th out of 69. The last one was the Tuesday citywide finals. I was very pleased with my result, I came 31st out of 93 and that was out of the best girls in Manchester. I am very pleased with myself.

Today I did some brilliant running, I am very pleased with myself. I really tried my very hardest and came 17th out of 56 girls! I am so pleased with myself aren't you? I have done the bnest in all my Tuesday races.

A day in Amsteerdam

Sorry this post is a bit late and I’m sure you have all been waiting. Anyway on Tuesday we went to Amsterdam. It was really fun but Dutch manners, disgraceful everyone kept bumping into you. Other than that it was really fun ( and a bit freaky which you’ll soon find out) . I am going to tell you about some of the things we did. We woke up at quarter to 6 and left the house to catch the train to Eindhoven, and then we had to catch another train to Amsterdam. First we looked for Anne Frank’s house for ages but when we got there the que was miles long so we couldn’t go in, but we still got to see it, and Oma says that if come to her house when it’s a shorter holiday the que might be a bit shorter so we can maybe go then. After that we went to a flower market and then had lunch in a Dutch pancake house, yum yum. Mummy and I had a Salami and cheese pancake, Elijah had a chocolate pancake and Oma had a plain one and put things on herself. After that we went to a museum that showed the history of Amsterdam. It was actually really interesting and me and Elijah pretended to be at the bar at an old fashioned café. At the shop I bought a postcard to frame and put on my wall. After that we went to a torture Museum ( this is the freaky bit ) and it showed all sorts of ways to punish people and mummy and Oma kept making me jump! Then I went into a shop and spent the rest of my money plus a bit of Oma’s to buy a zeeuws miesje which is a Dutch doll in English. Then we went to Macdonalds for tea. After that we went back to Oma’s house and on the train Oma gave me and Elijah a book on Amsterdam.I had really enjoyed my day in Amsterdam!!!!

Teachers and Edwardian Day

I really like my teachers. Especially Mrs Large she is the best teacher in the universe and really supports me in running. Anyway tomorrow is Edwardian day and is celebrating 100 years of the girls school. We are going to dress in Edwardian clothing and all the things are we do are going to be like they would have had things 100 years ago. So Mrs Large said that the teachers are going to be very strict, no talking, if we need light we are going to use candles, special punishment and we are going for a picnic in the park. That’s it, Bye for now. Oh and I promise next time I will write about Holland.

Starting a new school year

Todays blog post isn’t going to be about Holland because Mummy says this post has to be short. This is going to be about school. I am now in year 4 and am loving it and feel really grown up. My teacher’s are Mrs Taylor, Mrs Large and Mrs Miller. Even though they are a bit stricter I really enjoy it. I don’t think I have really been this enthusiastic about school but I am really enjoying it. There that’s it I told you it would be a quick one.

Swimming with Daddy

It was a Monday morning and everything was normal except Daddy was there. Even though he was there he still had to do some work. After he had finished his work Me, Daddy and Elijah went swimming together. He had brought his book and was reading it by the side of the pool and we kept asking him to come into the pool. Finally he stopped reading his book. He started going into the pool. As soon as he had felt the water he jumped straight out of the pool because he said it was too cold so he just stood by the side of the pool. When we tried to push him into the pool he just picked us up and threw us in. Then Mummy came into the room and forced Daddy to come in and finally he gave in. We played with the ball in the water and then the pool lights went of and we had to do without the light. After all the worry about the pool light not working e played with the ball and then I had to get out and have a shower. Then the next day something fun happened which will have to wait till next time.

Now where was I. Oh yes I was just about to tell you about a very surprising thing that happened on Sunday evening. It was 11 o clock in the night and I was asleep and a person called Mummy woke me up. : ( ( that’s meant to be a cross face ) Mummy picked me up and carried me into the room where she was sleeping and put me on her bed. She said she fancied a change but that wasn’t the reason as we will soon discover. You see the next morning as I woke up I saw on the floor, a bag of Maltesers with a note attached to it. This is mainly what it said. It was from Daddy and he said that he wasn’t going to send me anything so he had come through the night to bring some Maltesers. I went into the room where Mummy was sleeping and heard whispering. Who was mummy whispering to? Then I guessed vi looked on the bed and there was daddy!!! I was so surprised that I could do nothing but just cuddle him. More tomorrow…….

Carrying On

Ok I hope you have enjoyed reading yesterdays post. As you can see I am trying to write everyday even though going to Holland was 2 weeks ago today. : ( I could have stayed another month if I could but of course I have to go to school which is starting next Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back to the Holland thingy. The next day was Friday and that day we went swimming. It’s only now that I realise how much I long for a swim in the pool I really liked that part of the house.( Ok maybe I am going a bit over the top ) Have I mentioned the water bomb fight, I don’t think I have. I don’t know which day it was but one of the days Elijah and me had a water bomb fight. Elijah had brought some water bombs to Holland and Oma had a tap outside. So we had got a bucket and were covering the tap with the hole of the balloon and then we were filling the balloon with water and then Oma and Mummy were tying the ends and then we had a water bomb. When we had a bucket of water bombs each we were ready to start the fight. I had a really good time and got soaking wet!!

Anyway back to Friday. Oh I also forgot to tell you about Omaatje and Pierre came round on Wednesday. They gave me a set of shell beads and I made a sponge cake for all of us and we had a really nice time. Me and Elijah also had a water fight that day as well. On Saturday Oma went to a funeral and me, Elijah and Mummy had to look after the kids. On Sunday Jael and Walter came. We had a water fight with them and I also did some circus things with Jael. Then on Sunday night something very surprising happened which will have to wait till tomorrow.

A Day Out

Yesterday's stop was just to keep you waiting. Before I start I want to say one thing GIDEON IS CRAWLING AND SITTING UP HIMSELF!!!!!!

On Thursday we went to a fun park called DippieDoe. It was a brilliant, I'm sure I went on nearly all the rides! I went on a really fun Roller Coaster that went quite slow and then went really fast, I went on that ride 5 times .

I also went on a really high pirate ship that went to and fro, and if you sat right on the end or a seat in front of the end ( which I did ) then you could see the boat go right on the tip. I went on that ride once on my own and 2 with Mummy. One of the times I went on with Mummy it started raining and we got really wet! I also went on a ride where you sat in seats and then you whizzed round and round. I went on that ride 3 times once with Oma, once with Mummy and once on my own. I also went on one where you sat in a seat and you went up and then dropped down. I went on that 2 times both on my own because everyone else was too scared. I kept saying "I see no fear!"

We also went on a ride that was a bit like big wheel only it was much smaller. Gideon went on that one as well. We also went on some rides inside. I went on a big boat that went to and fro and round and round. I went on the bumper cars 2 times one i went with Elijah and we were really rubbish and one on my own I was really good. I also went on a merry-go-round once with Gideon, Mummy and Elijah and one with Elijah. I also went on 2 with Mummy one where you sit in a seat with a cover around it and it spun round and you could spin the seat around. I also went on with Mummy where you car was stuck to other cars and the car spun around athe centre and the selection of cars spun around as well. I also went on a soft play area. We had tea there as well. We had chips with corkketa, chicken nuggets and mayonaise. I also went on a massive slide where you had to sit on a mat and then slide down. Then we went home. On another post I will put some pictures on.

Carrying On

Sorry that I had to stop when I was nowhere near finish. It was just because I had to do a few jobs and didn't want to spend my whole day doing my blog, as much as I like it! Anyway after we watched a sermon Mummy made lunch and we had a yummy chicken roast. After that we all played a game whilst listening to the Beatles! The next day we went to the market in Budel and Mummy dropped an onion under a car! We all laughed but the man at the market wasn't impressed . Then in the end I had to go under the car and get the onion! Then we bought a few more things. One of the men running it gave us loads of fruit for free and they were actually quite nice. Also Oma gave back a crepe maker. ( I called it a crap maker because the crepes it made weren't very good. Oma's were much better. ,,,nm,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ????????????? Gideon did that!! Anyway The next 2 days were normal. The next day we did something very fun. But you'll have to wait till tomorrow.

2 weeks in Holland

I have got lots to write about, and all of it is going to be about my adventures in Holland. The first morning my ultra cool and awesome uncles arrived ( as Remco, one of my uncles describe them and as I think they are)! Anyway first we had a drink and they had breakfast. After that I did my blog the post is called In Holland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Later on that day I went for a swim in Oma's swimming pool. The next day Mummy unpacked and we all just did fun and usual things ( including swimming!) and Wouter and Remco did some jobs. The next few days were spent doing normal things as well and some of the days swimming. One of the days I went swimming twice one was with Gideon and Mummy, it was Gideon's first time in the swimming pool and he wasn't afraid at all! The other time was with Wouter and Remco and I had a really good time. On Saturday it was Wouter and Remco's last day so me and Elijah helped put some boxes in the garage. Then the next day they left and but I had wanted them to stay a bit longer but they had to go to work. :( After they had left me, Mummy and Elijah watched a sermon. To be continued.................

Some time in Budel.

I have already had 3 days in Holland and am having a very good time. Yesterday I went into Budel with Oma, Mummy, Elijah and Gideon. We went to a few shops and a cafe aswell. Oma bought a pancake maker, some sweets, some water bombs for us to share and Mummy bought some cute red shoes. We also went into Albert Hein and bought some food. After we had been in a few shops we went to a cafe and I had some apple juice with a mini, mini Mars bar that came with it. Then we wernt to a few more shops and then went back to Oma's house.

This morning I arrived in Holland. It had been a grace filled journey. God had been with us all the way because when we needed english people the only people we saw were english people. Mummy did very well and stayed calm all the way. It was quarter past 1 in the morning. I had just woken up and I was in Holland! I was very tired but before I went up to my bedroom I gave Oma a big hug. Then I went upstairs and went to bed I didn't bother to take my clothes off. I fell asleep almost straight away. I woke up at quarter past 7 and had a bit of a lie in. At about 25 past Elijah started being very funny! He was doing caate moves and whatnot. Then we went downstairs and played downfall which Elijah won. After that we all had breakfast and I spilled my chocolate milkshake on the table! Then Wouter and Remco came. I have got 2 weeks here and I am hoping to do lots of swimming and go to Amsteerdam.

Soon I need to go on a long journy to Holland. 5 hours on this side, 1 and a half on the boat and 3 hours on the other side. I am very excited and I have got an hour to wait till we get in the car. I am going to have swimming paradise when I'm there and have got 12 Euros 10 cent to spend.

Chester Zoo

Today Wouter and Lisa ( my auntie and uncle ) were around. So whilst Mummy was packing we went to chester zoo. We saw lots of animals such as penguins, elephants, tigers, lions, meerkats, bats, flamingos ( which were very pink ), giraffes and rhinos, plus lots more. I found the bats a bit scary because you went into a really dark bit and the bats flew around you but didn't hit you because they are very clever! My favourite bit was seeing the penguins. When we had looked at nearly all the animals we went to the shop, I bought ( with Wouter's money ) a keyring, a notebook, a pencil for me and a pencil for Mummy. Elijah bought a snake and pencil. By the way during the trip me and Elijah had lots of shoulder rides on Wouter! Also befaore we went to the zoo we had a walk in the woods nearby because we were a bit early! I have had a lovely day at the zoo.

Summer holidays

I have been having a lovely first 2 weeks of holiday and have been doing lots of things such as painting a photo frame for my bedroom and going to a few shops and thelibrary in Withington. Also today as you might have seen I have made a few changes to my blog.
In 3 and a half days we are going to Holland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have 4 weeks left of the holiday left and I hope the sun comes out!

Just a quick blog post to say that yesterday we broe up for the summer holidays. We have got 6 weeks! We have got lots of things planned including going to afriends party on Sunday and going to Holland which I am VERY excited about.

On Tuesday Remco (my uncle) was here so he and Mummy changed our bedrooms. Elijah is sharing with Gideon and I have my own room. On Tuesday when I came home from school Mummy leaded me upstairs and when I opened my eyesI was very excited, I had my own room!

These last few days it has been HOT! The tempature is in the mid 20's and it is inpossible to do any running. When I came home from school today I flopped on the sofa because the sun had made me very tired. Mummy has been very silly because yesterday when she went outside she didn't put any suncream on and got very sunburnt!

Mini Manchester Run

Today I did the mini Manchester run. It was really great and I did it in 8min 03sec. It was amile long and near to the end I sprinted. I got a goodie bag with a medal and after the race I drank 2 bottles of water. My whole family is really pleased with me and I am pleased with myself too!

Sport Relief

Yesterday I ran a mile for sport relief with the running club I'm part of. I did it in
exactly 10 minutes 47 seconds. I ran all the way without walking or stopping like alot of people did. Mummy came to support me and some of the people who weren't in running club came to support all of us.

My Birthday

My birthday was absouloutly brilliant I got about 20 presets these are some of them. 2 notebooks for writing stories in, a stopwatch, an impossipuzzle, a doodle book, £30 and lots more. In the morning I woke up at 6.30, went into Mummy and Daddy's bedroom and opened my presents. Then I went downstairs and had chocolate crossiants. After that I went o school and they sung happy birthday to me. When I got home I played outside with Elijah and drew inmy doodle book. Daddy came home early so we had a nice meal together. I had the most amazing birthday cake that mummy made. It was a haert shape, had pink icing with maltesers on the edges, it had sweeties in the middle and it said 'Lydia is 8'. The candles had sparks on and when you blew it they came back on again. I also had a very fun sleepover party, we watched a brilliant film called' ENCHANTED', had chocolate crossiants for dessert and played games.

Half Term Holiday

This week it has been the half term holiday. I have done lots of painting. I did painting on Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday,Friday and today. I also did a design for a competition. I have also finished my homework. The first Saturday off I invited a few friends to the cinema and we watched a film called 'UP'. It was a great film, it was all about a retired man who's wife has died and he decided to go to the place his wife and him had always wanted to go. He didn't want to leave his house though so he tied some balloons to the top of his house. He travelled with a little boy.

On Saturday there is lots of sports on the telivision, such as football and snooker. So Elijah and Daddy because they are boys watch it. So it is nice to have a feeling that Elijah and Daddy are enjoying themselves it is also a bit annoying having the telly on for a long time.It also means that me and Mummy can have a girly time together. Last week me and Mummy had a lovely time together first we went to some charity shops and I bought 3 Jacqueline Wilson books ( she is my favourite author.) Then we went and had a hot chocolate.

Back at school

THe first few days when we were ment to be at school got cancelled because of the snow, so we got to playoutside a bit more. When school finally started nearly every playtime I had a snowball fight then I got a bit sick of the snow. When we went inside inside to do work again I was hapy to get out of the snow and I like doing work. I am happy to see my friends again.

Christmas Daddy Date

This saturday me and daddy went on a christmasdaddy date. Fist we went to the cinema and watched The Santa Claus 3. It was a really good film, it was about when Jack Frost tried to become Father Christmas instead. Then we went on the train into town. We had a little bit of food and came to a very tall building called Beetham tower and took some photo's of it.

Me and Daddy thought that rich people would go there. We wondered how long it would take to get to the 23rd floor so we went in the lift and counted the th number of seconds. When we got up there the view was great! I didn't know at first but then Daddy told me that we were going to have high tea there! We had a wonderful time there and took lots of photo's. We were given a little tower with 3 plates on with posh food on them. First we had had a glass of delicious hot chocolate, then I had some freshly squised apple juice and D addy had another glass of hot chocolate. Then we both had a last glass of hot chocolate. The last thing we did was buy a cap for Elijah for christmas.

This weekendDaddy went away and that is whyIam sad but I am happy because Ihave had a nice weekend with Elijah and Mumy andI'm happy because I've got a brand new bike. Last week John LeechMP came in and gave me my bike, it is very pretty and just the right size to last me for a long time.
This weekend we did lots of things, we watched films which meant Mummy could lie on the sofa whilst she watched the film. We also made little shapes out of salt dough and I made a mini advent calender. I only made 4 gifts because couldn't do a whole 24.

I have won the christmas card competition!!! Schools all over south Manchester did the competition and I've won the whole thing! The prize is a mountain bike which I've always wanted. My desighn will be sent to 40 ,000 houses. I first found out when a person from the reporter newspaper came to take a photo of me.The next day day I found myself in the newspaper! This week John Leech the MP is coming to give me my bike in front of the whole school and I am so nervous.

Pets Like No Other

On Saturday Elijah & Daddy went out. When they came home in the afternoon, Daddy was carying a big box. Mummy & me heard some squeaking inside!!! When Daddy opened the box there were 4 little chicks inside. The chicks are 9 weeks old, Elijah named 2 and I named 2.

Elijah named his Sally & Lucy and I named mine Jessica & Emily. I bet nobody in my school has pets like ours! Here are some pictures of them, they are so quite!!!

Today Elijah and I filled the bathtub up with water and played with the Paper boats that Lovely Mummy made.We put some toy animals in and pretended our toy trees were coral reef. Then I did some fishing. Daddy gave me the flowers on Friday, they are lovely and colourful!

Forgetful Me

The reason why the title is called 'Forgetful Me' is because I can't remember what we did on some of the days last week and the funny thing about it is that I remember what we did on Monday and that was at the beginning of the week!
Anyway, on Monday we went to a sports shop and I bourt some new trainers, a pair of 'High School Musical' jogging bottoms and in a different shop I bourght two new 'High School Musical' bags, one for my P.E bag and one for my bookbag.
On Tuesday, we went into Didsbury and bought a video. The video was called 'Alladin'. In the afternoon we watched it.
I can't remember what we did on Wednseday but on Thursday we went to the library and bought two more video from a different shop. We haven't watched them yet.
On Friday evening we watched a film that came through the post, it was called 'Horton Hears a Who'. It was a good film and a bit weird too.
On Saturday we went into town and listened to some music. The Jazz Festival was on in town so we enjoyed some free jazz. We also went to some shops. After that, Elijah spillt orange juice on my clothes so daddy had to buy me a new dresss, wich was nice as well.
On Sunday we visited a new church. Mrs Tayler, one of the teachers at my school was teaching the kids' church. After that I decorated some chocolate biscuit I made on Friday. Mummy took some pictures of them.
Every day this holiday I have done my journal and have read my Bible. I really enjoy doing that.

Today me and Daddy went on a DaddyDate to Cholton Water Park. We had alovely time. I fed the geese their breakfast and Daddy took pictures and did feed the geese a little bit.

I also had a lovely time at my party (quite a long time ago). We played mummies and pass the parcel we played a few more games and we also had a dance lesson!

At the beginning of January I wrote a letter to Nigella. Saying what recipies I have made by her and that I don't like such dark chocolate because she does put quite alot of dark chocolate in her recipies. Then 2 weeks later she wrote back saying that her daugter doesn't like such dark chocolate either and to have a good birthday on the 8th of march because I said that my birthday was on that date.
She also gave me a photo of her and mummy has put it in a frame.

Christmas holiday

I am having a lovely christmas holiday. For christmas I got,a poster set,a box of mateser's,2 art boxes.In my stocking I got some beads,and some chocolate coins.My favourite present was a roller skate set. I also got a colouring book a tracing set I also got a balleirina dolly from Elijah.Me and Elijah got 3 games for sharing,we got boggle,articulate and draw out. Before we went to curch when I was having breakfast my tooth fell out. For lunch we had the breast of our turkey because it was a huge one and we had sprouts and carots some stuffing and homemade cranberry saurce.For desert Elijah and daddy had christmas pudding me and mummy had chocolate cake that Elijah and daddy made because we don't like christmas pudding. For christmas I also got 3 book's 1 from grandad and 2 rainbow magic book's 1 called polly the party fun fairy and the other with all the rainbow colour story's in one. On boxing day Grandad Rose and debbie came and we had the same as on christmas day and we played articulate. On christmas day I also got to play outside on my roller skates.

On monday I did outdoor games. We played a game called cats and mice where some people have bands down their shorts and they're the mice and others don't and they're the cats. The cats need to chase the mice and then the cats pull the
band out of that persons shorts thats how the cats case the mice.Then we played
some more games and then chose some equipememt and played with that and then P.E. was finished. We did the same the next day. On wednesday we went to the computers and
did a story. On thursday we did some art because it was our assembely the next
friday we made some props for it and I did a snail hat. On friday I went
swimming. On saturday today we are going to a wedding anniversery at
4'O clock. When I've finished doing my blog I am going to play
outside with my friends. Tomorrow I am going to a party at the bowlling center.

Health Awareness week

Last week it was Health Awareness week at me and Elijah's school.We did short tennis and played with a parachute.We played popcorn with ball's and with the parachute of course.On wendsday Year one we went to the park.We we played cats and mice and we played with the parachute and we walked on stilts and skipped and balanced a ball on a tennis racket and put a beanbag on our heads and crawled through a tunnel and ran back to the line.I won't do any more
because I need to tidy up and have breakfast.I had fun.

Me and my friend Imaan were talking about which boy's Imaan liked and we went in the barrels.I giggled so much because Imaan was picking out such funny boy's.She said if I giggle again the next day she would bring her daddy's gun to school and shoot me. After that we played with Flora and we pretended that we were putting cheese in a van.When we thought it was full we shouted ;ERMERGENCY WE NEED ANOTHER VAN.Then after that it was the end of playtime.

ToddayI went to the toilet and I closed the door.When I was finished I tried to open the door but I coulden`t (our door really sticks). I screamed and Screamed but mummy had fallen asleep so she coulden't hear me.Eventually some naber's heard me and helped me.They knocked on the door and mummy woke up and opened thedooor for me atleest she said sorry.We've got a new toilet rule now; never close the bathroom door!
